Top/Reputable Corporate Development Headhunters?

Hi everyone, I have a few years of experience in banking and realized that I am not really interested in continuing in IB or pursuing traditional PE/GE/VC roles. I know there is plenty of information around headhunters on this site, but noticed it was mainly around PE or HF

Anyone know any decent headhunters on the CorpDev/Corp Strategy/Strategic Finance side in the US? I am pretty flexible and am willing to explore opportunities at the early stage (Series B-C+), sponsor owned, or public companies particularly around TMT.

All the major headhunters (HSP, CPI, et. al.) will have a handful of corporate development jobs. I've noticed that there's also a ton of jobs posted on Linkedin and many companies (especially the ones with sophisticated recruiting apparatuses like Google or Facebook) will reach out directly if your profile fits their screen. The last avenue is networking--corp dev teams tend to be very small relative to the size of their companies and are often lumped into other functions so it may be difficult to find a way in. Having an advocate on the inside should help you navigate the process. On a related note, a lot of folks I know who made the transition from IBD to corp dev (especially at the associate+ level) worked with the firm they ended up at as a client on a deal or two before being asked to make the move. If you like your coverage universe this could be a good lead.
