Toronto Satellite BB vs. Canadian Banks

Is there a large difference coming in as a lateral?

Satellite (GS/JM/MS/Barc/Citi) would have larger deals and comp, but is most outsourced to NY? Anyone able to share experience going from CDN Bank?

Likewise, Canadian Banks (Excl. RBC) would have lower prestige, lower comp, but presumably more deal flow (just smaller), especially if plan is long-term Canada? Additionally larger offices would help build more connections at the junior level?

If you had two offers, what would you take?
