Tough supervisor who doesn't really want your inputs
I have a senior associate who is currently the only manager/associate in the office (another just left), and I'm an analyst.
The thing with him is: he likes to ask :what do you think", but when you (I or another person, even our MD) actually tells him what you think, he will just say "no,no,no, that's not what I meant/want".
This is kind of frustrating. I'm making edits/changes that are totally unnecessary.
How do you deal with that?
Another example is, my MD and I agreed on things a couple/few times, but this senior manager/associate doesn't agree, and in my team the managers take the final call on files sent to clients.
