Trackr Summer Internship Report stats
Trackr posted their summer internship report this week. some of the key stats:
- There were 101 applications for every offer
- Black and female students had advantages of 58% and 29% respectively
- 54% of students didn't get an offer
- Overall each application had 5.5% chance of an interview
- Having spring weeks was the most important factor

Thoughts? It seems like it's a lot more competitve than other years

Super interesting report. tbh I’m surprised that the number of students without offers isn’t higher given the change in job market and increased competition. Still shows how tough it remains to get your foot in though
it was less competitive for me this year because I already did an internship
banks are really pidgeonholing people into specific roles based on their backgrounds
it's stupid af, how can a student even have a 'background'
