Trade Idea Discussion and Collaboration

Is anyone interested in coming together on a discord or zoom meeting to discuss trade idea generation or topics? (Not just through technical analysis but on a professional trader level. Utilizing data and research from various sources.)

I've done day trading (pennystocks mainly) and dabbled with some options but it was technical analysis based. I would like to discover trends and collaborate on really understanding where the various economies and in industries are headed in the near future; similar to the way they do it at the Institute of Trading and Portfolio Management

Not a programmer but interested in learning more about the quant side of things too. (Wondering, is it necessary to delve into that side of things)

Trying to break into the field but I think It would be best to develop a trade process/strategy and be able to present the strategy, stats., and process to present to potential firms. (With my background, there aint no way I'm getting in a hedge fund or investment firm without an act of god or unless someone on linkedin reaches out to give me a shot).
