Transferring schools worth it?

Backstory - relatively strong gpa/sat/clubs. Got accepted at a couple targets and few semis. Ended up going to a complete non target due to merit scholarship (plan since graduating hs has been to get into ib).

Finished my freshman year w a 4.0. Quickly realized that my current school has no campus recruiting for any investment bank and basically no alumni connection to start networking with. With all that said, I've been cold emailing and have slowly started to grow my network.

Question now is if it's worth transferring. If I do, I'll be going to a new school during the spring of my sophomore year. Pretty much when SA recruiting will start so worried that not having a gpa on my resume/not enough time to build connections will hurt me more than just sticking with where I am.

Any advice would be appreciated.
