Transferring to Europe/London Office for a year

Hitting the desk next week, but still a little dazzled by my Europe trip and how different life is there compared to the US. Was really interested in working there for 6 months - 1 year. I know its common at JPM for people to go abroad for their 3rd analyst year, but what about EB/MMs that have offices in Europe (places like London/Frankfurt/Paris, etc.)? What would be the process for requesting a temporary transfer? Unfortunately I only know English, so London might be the only option.
