I'm 7 months into my S&T gig and want to move to IBD. I have tried to gear my resume as closely as possible to IBD, and am in the process of setting up meetings with staffers, so just wanted feedback on how I could make it as geared towards IBD as possible....any feedback from current bankers who've reviewed resumes before would help...

Thanks in advance !

Alpha-Resistant DaisukiDaYo:

I'd also like to know; also, do you see a lot of people moving from S&T to IBD nowadays?

Also curious

From what I know, lateraling from S&T to IBD is not that common. If it does happen, it's usually the other way around - IBD to ECM or Institutional Sales within S&T. The OP is just preparing for the effects of Basel III, hence he's trying to get out now, before he pigeonholes himself in a dying field.

Your resume is the cheeks mcgriddles aka very nice. Are you trying to lateral within the bank or to another bank?
