Testament of how disconnected the HR teams are to the business reality.
They don’t have any clue about what we do in IB and they haven’t understood the types of personalities that should be targeted for the job. No wonder why some candidates quit after a few weeks into the job...
HR has been questionable at best at all the firms I’ve worked at — this par for the course. They really should just hire ex-bankers who don’t like the hours, so they can actually have some idea what the job entails.
Favourite part is her being an investment banker but also sitting on the trading floor I think

Pretty sure it’s not IB related, but does anyone know what UBS’s GTP program is? Is it part of all of their divisions? What is it?
It is their graduate program. 2-3 years analyst program when joining after university where you receive specific training. I think it has been rolled out across various divisions
