UBS - Informational Interview

Hey guys, I have an informational interview with an MD at UBS in NYC next week. I've heard that UBS IBD has taken a beating recently. Anyone care to comment on their rep on the street?

BobbUBS is fine. Nothing wrong with starting your career there

I totally agree with this if you become interested in finance later on during junior year or are from a non target. But if the OP is at an ivy or target and has been working hard since freshman year, it's hard to justify the private school 50 k expense by ending up at UBS IBD as opposed to JPM/GS/MS/Merrill/Elite boutiques especially considering since even top leveraged buyout firms like Blackstone recruit for a few positions at HYPS and Wharton. I'm still a student so feel free to correct me if this sounded ignorant at all.
