Analyst 1 in IB - Cov

How are your hours/group culture if you don't mind me asking?

Hours are better than average, as well as culture. Mostly because most people are on 0 live deals, 1 at most

Pretty sure it used to be Friday WFH "option". Pretty much no banks are "group dependent" on the approach anymore. 3/2 is rarer and rarer, with many banks at 4 if not 5+ days for IB

I don't work there so take it with a grain of salt, but you should be showing up at least four if not five days a week in the beginning (call it until end of year). I have seen a few classes of hybrid now and the people who were in the office more ramped up at least 50% faster just because they heard and absorbed much more. I would try to be that guy in this current environment. I am absolutely all for working from the couch but you will just learn more surrounded by others.

sorry to not answer your question very well but especially in this UBS situation I would not expect a lot of WFH flexibility.
