It’s the better brand name globally by quite a bit. UBS does exceptionally well in APAC compared to anywhere else, but Citi trailed only GS/MS in APAC this year.
So even if UBS might’ve been a little better in the region over the past few years, I don’t think it’s enough of a difference to offset the disparity globally/overall.
Most people around me seem to think this way, but that may be because they are from US schools and a lot of IB info/resources are US-based.
