UGA vs Georgia Tech

I’m currently a first year student at UGA and are in the top finance clubs here currently. I’m planning on going into banking or consulting. I know neither are particularly great at those things but what is your recommendation about staying or transferring to Georgia Tech.

If you're really certain you want to do high finance, idk why you're only considering transferring to GT. Presumably you're an in state kid ergo hope/zell = uga/gt free and everywhere else costs money. If you're a top student who needs a JPM/Moelis/pick any top 15 bank placement, you're gonna have to try to transfer to a ivy/vandy/duke. I've seen a few top placements for both uga and gt (neither at a higher rate really). Otherwise they both place well to the regional stuff/low end BB (isn't UGA a Citi target?). But between GTSF and Corsair i dont think theres much of a distinction. Enjoy the better bars and gamedays or pony up and transfer to a target

Context: in-state kid that went out of state but friends go to both options
