Undergrad Transfer & Offcycle Recruitment

Started at a large state school then transferred to a semi target for junior year. Started to network and recruit at the beginning of my sophomore year but came to the conclusion that I would rather spend that time and energy on transferring to a better school. I am now at a point that I am ready to put full effort into recruitment for 2027 internships. However, I do realize I am extremely late and wondering if it is at all feasible to find something offcycle for that Summer or put more of an emphasis on looking for something full time after graduation. If anyone has been in this position before or could provide any insight/guidance, that would be very appreciated.
