Undergraduate Investment Banking Feeder Pipeline

Instagram account "Litquidity" posted this visual recently and wanted to gather thoughts on school placement. I attended one of the public schools near "Target AF" and was surprised to see the schools surrounding it. IMO some schools got shafted on placement... *cough* *cough* UCLA.

There’s another post from a few days ago about this post. We don’t need another thread about the same meme.

UCLA doesn’t place high numbers, but the kids who take it seriously get offers that people at schools placed way higher in the graph (BC, SMU, etc) probs couldn’t.

I wasn’t that plugged into the finance clubs, but the 2 most recent classes placed multiple people at Q, GS/MS/JPM and PWP/Moelis/PJT. Pretty sure that holds true even if you only count SF and NYC placements.
