Understanding different sectors and valuations

Hi all - I'll be starting as an equity sales analyst next year at a top BB. A key part of my role is being able to digest and apply research across all sectors.

I wanted to ask for recommendations for books that pretty much break down different sectors. i.e, how typical businesses operate, their characteristics, cyclicity, investor profiles (i.e lots of LO), trading multiples and valuation methods etc. It can be hard figuring out where to start when I'll have to be covering everything from SaaS models to reinsurance companies.

Would really appreciate any insight as I would love to roll off into the role with a breadth of market knowledge, or at least the tools to tackle it best. Thanks!
