Hey there,

This happens to all of us from time to time.

This is what I did and it is anecdotal evidence however.

1. Make yourself sign up for things your normal self just would not do. (I joined a musical instrument club, I have never played an instrument, but the community was nice and they welcomed me with open arms, helped me to make new friends and feel even more energized)
2. I really felt rewarded after a workout. (I over-thought about doing perfect workouts and stopped myself from doing anything) then I just told me to walk out of the dorm with running shoes and run for 30 secs and every time I increased my goal time I felt rewarded)
3. Be more mindful how you use your free time (sometimes I just stayed on my bed and was not rewarding at all, and then I started to make plans on going out to eat my favorite food whilst watching good movies)
4. Also singing hymns at choir helped

be mindful that this is just anecdotal ideas/evidence, you could find your own game plan, speak to a professional/loved one, that always helps!

All I can say is you gotta fire it the fuck up. Reframe everything into an opportunity for growth.

I can give you a few examples, as I've been really put to the test this past month.

1. GF broke up with me. Option A: Mope about it. Option B: Accept reality, hit the weights, and get stoked to meet the next girl.

2. Family member passed away. Option A: Cry and wish they'd come back. Option B: Accept reality and live your life in a way that would make them proud.

3. Lost my job. Option A: Pout about how unfair this is. Option B: Again, accept reality, jump back on the recruiting grind knowing that you can leverage your experience to land an even better gig.

The sooner you can be at peace with the reality of a situation, the sooner you can twist it to your advantage.

Take a day, make a plan, and stick to it as best you can.

You’re a junior in college and haven’t dated a girl since college? What does this even mean…..

Dude, work out at home if you need to. Just doing it makes you feel better. When you have the time walk a lap around your floor at the office. Dating, keep casting lines and maybe go analog in your pursuits rather than online. Better to be catfished by personality alone than the entire ensemble.

Only two sources I trust, Glenn Beck and singing woodland creatures.
