Unpaid Boutique IBD Sophomore SA - Worth it?

I'm trying to position myself as best as I can for junior SA recruiting and was wondering for those who did the unpaid boutique IBD summer experience, was it worth it? Non-target here so don't have access to the perks of OCR or solid alumni base which is making me more inclined to go for it.

Cold-emailed and cold-called my balls off to get something lined up, but would have to relocate to the city as a result. Really small office (20-30) and they already have most in the office. First choice for this summer is obviously something in IB for the experience, then PE or AM and so on. Should I pick up a part time job to try and support myself as much as possible in case I do take the opportunity for the boutique, and hoping that the lean, small team will provide valuable experience which will hopefully shine in interviews. Tier 1 City / experienced dudes too, and told them I would work my tail off trying to learn as much as possible, but am I shooting myself in the foot here? Would appreciate some insight
