Have been working at a BB and noticed a trend lately; insecure managers.
From my experience I’ve seen managers go out of their way to slander or shit talk colleagues out of mobility opportunities and senior management exposure.
Has anyone else noticed this? Stories? How to avoid for future?

This is unfortunately endemic. A lot of bad VPs and bad Directors who cannot rise above median performance find that the best way to stand out is to put everyone else down.
Talk to your staffer. Ask not to work with these people.
