Updated CV - show or hide?
Firm is asking me for my updated CV for summer analyst role to be shared across the teams and people. Team selection hasn't happened yet, I believe the CV may play a role in team selection but no clue.
Should I hide my previous experience at some firms and internship experience. I don't want to be seen as a highly competent person relative to other interns due to my previous experience and have the standard of expectation be a lot higher for performance and conversion.
My previous internships on paper seem a lot stronger than the actual experience I got there.
Thanks.
You should definitely include them, but just in general you shouldn't be wildly dishonest about the work you did... trust me even if your experience is unbelievable on paper, all interns are basically considered to be starting from scratch. Most of these freshman/sophomore internships you are not doing much work.
Thanks, wouldn't say I am being dishonest at all on the CV just the names on there may make it seem as if I've been working in quite a high intensity environment when it was more chill and introductory.
You're fine. Again the bar for interns is incredibly low
