I know that you should never use a case study on your resume because it shows that you lack work experience, but what about using one in your cover letter. I have 2 and a half years of work experience as an Investment Analyst at a REIT but no direct investment banking experience. I have been following Mergers & Inquisitions cover letter template. I feel that using a case study would be better than regurgitating information that is on your resume? What do you think?
