I work at a boutique IB firm in Australia (think 2-5 employees, very relationship-based) and am recruiting for summer internships. I am very friendly with my boss (MD) and he knows literally everyone in the IB scene. Would it be risky/weird to ask to use his network for coffee chats (ie. introduce me to ppl)? He knows I'm going to recruit for internships, but it still feels awkward/weird to ask.
