Valuation Models

Hey, since it seems like so many of you have walked the gauntlet at ibanks, I was wondering if anyone had some old excel valuation models, be it dcfs, trans comps etc. I just thought that that sort of info would be a great supplement to all the info here about getting a job. Thanks for all the help!

Is there anyway to post the spreadsheets? Or maybe I could give the people who have them my email address and then anyone else who wants them can post their email address in a response post and I will pass the docs onto them.

gweilo, thanks I just recently found that site, but I was hoping for some spreadsheets that were actualyl produced in house. I just want to see what the firms look for in terms of the work analysts produce.

most banks are like vaults

Only if by this you mean ones where the front door has been left wide open and a couple of tunnels leading out the back.

Models are emailed externally all the time to clients, etc. that you then have no way of tracking. This is with respect to equity research but I don't see why it shouldn't apply to IBD also.

I would offer some of mine except that I incorporate some techniques that would make it fairly easy to identify me.

hfontinhait i completely forbidden to send

Dude, you have no idea what you're talking about - My desk sends models to clients ALL the time!
