Value of Sales/Business/Analytics internship at Fortune 100

Hey everyone,

Let's say I have a friend (me) who kind of screwed up the summer analyst recruiting timeline, but now has opportunities to pursue at very large companies for the summer. These things range from supply chain to data science to sales operations.

If we assume we're talking about some of the biggest brands in the world, what (if any) value would an internship at one of those companies bring to bear in full time recruiting a year from now? What divisions of a mega-corporation would be most valued?

If it's useful for context, we're talking about a 3.75 GPA from a target with prior internship experience (although outside of finance) and a quantitative field of study.
