Waitlisted - can I say this?
Waitlisted for IB role. Reconnecting soon (was told a week ago to reconnect around now)... is it okay to say "I am really interested in this group and would accept an offer if I receive one"? Is this something that I should say? BTW it is the truth... I would accept if I receive.
sure, but don't make it come off as if your desperate-- might rub someone off in the wrong way. And, to be honest, there probably isn't much that you can do.
Nothing wrong there, it shows commitment. You can say something like "____ bank is my number one choice, and I will sign on the spot of given an offer".
