i hear these programs are pointless and a waste of money. they train u everythign u need to know on the job, and for interviews u can just study Vault guides and stuff.

I rather be the guy that knows the basic concepts of modeling than the guy that doesn't because there seems to be more guys that don't know it.

It is not about the title that you have, it is about how much money that you have.

People probably won't quiz me on modeling. But completing the course and buying it certainly shows recruiters that I'm serious about banking and not some kid that applied because of the cash. Its $430... Yeah that's alot of money right now. But why regret spending money on an investmentin yourself?

I'd rather be over prepared than under prepared.

$430? You're probably better off reading Aswath Damodaran's free corp fin stuff. He even has free spreadsheets on DCFs and other valuation techniques. If your school subsidizes WSP I'd do it, but don't pay for out of your own pocket. It's probably not likely to make you stand out from any other candidate THAT much.
