Waste Management Metrics - Core Price vs Average Yield

For anyone with any experience looking at the industry, what exactly is the difference between these two? Both are a measure of quantifying increases in prices charged per unit of service, thus isolating price from volume drivers in terms of revenue growth.

However, what really is the difference between the two? Can't find anything on this online, nor can I see any proper explanation in the 10Ks of any waste management company.
