Waterfall Returns
Looking for assistance building the following waterfall from the GP's point of view:
- - LP invests $4M into a participating preferred security with an 8% preferred return (pref / common split 98%/2%)
- - GP receives 15% of LP's common proceeds until LP has realized a 2.0x MOIC on its common investment, plus
- 20% of LP's common proceeds between a 2.0x-4.0x MOIC, plus
- 25% of LP's common proceeds above a 4.0x MOIC
