Weekend work?
I was just wondering how much do you guys really work on weekends? From a math standpoint if we assume 80hrs/week then M- F 9 - 1AM would cut it right?
Or am I missing something entirely.

I think you're missing the fact that as a banker you don't create your own schedule. It's dependent on deal flow and where the team is at on a deal. If your VP assigns you something on Friday before the end of the day and needs something by Monday, then weekend work comes into play whether you stayed at the office till 11pm or 2am every night of the week.
So if there’s little deal flow what time would you leave the office ?
