Well Fargo IBD London

Hi everyone,

I’m currently trying to learn more about Wells Fargo’s M&A team, particularly in London / EMEA. From what I’ve seen, the firm has a strong reputation in DCM and Leveraged Finance, but I’m curious how active the pure advisory side is these days.

  • How large is the M&A group in London?
  • What’s the typical deal flow and comps like compared to other banks?
  • What are their strong industry groups?
  • Do analysts there get exposure to both advisory and financing mandates, or are the roles quite separated?
  • How are the Exit Ops to other BB/EB Banks or PE firms?

Would really appreciate any recent insights or firsthand experience from people who’ve worked there or interviewed recently — especially around team structure, deal exposure, and culture.

Thanks in advance!
