Wells Fargo

"What are the best groups in Wells Fargo's IBD in terms of deal flow, culture and exit opps? I know this has been posted here before but the information is pretty old and WF is growing fast so I assume much of it has changed. I'm also curious about the locations of each group for interns as I know some are exclusively New York or exclusively Charlotte."

I copy and pasted this question because this is what I'm wondering, but this question was asked 5 years ago. Any help would be appreciated

Out of curiosity and this isn’t a dig or a slight but what makes you say industrials are top? I worked there for a few years and didn’t really see them on any major transactions. When we would have our quarterly IBD meetings their fees weren’t substantial either.

I worked in another group while I was there but the people are chill in that group, as far as I know. Not sure about deal flow, not one of the top 3.

When I left a year or so ago I think FIG generated the most fees by a decently wide margin, TMT was there as well. Lev Fin is out of CLT and they don’t model. Think REGAL is considered to be pretty strong but I haven’t had much interaction with them. They’ve been on some pretty solid transactions this year though.
