Wells Fargo 2027 FT and intern return rate
I know there’s been a lot of debate over whether Wells Fargo really only gave return offers to ~50–60% of its interns. What I’m curious about is: if the lower return rate was actually driven by tighter headcount rather than intern quality, why would Wells Fargo then open a separate full-time recruiting process?
Does anyone have a sense of how many spots they’re actually looking to fill through full-time recruiting, or how meaningful this process is expected to be?
i think its a mix of both, but they def overhired in clt and were just more stringent with intern performance. i think like 1/3-1/2 the groups def had close to that 50-60%. i know some strong interns who got cut.
they open apps bc there is always gonna be a minimum one adhoc spot to fill (due to renegs etc) likeee.... dont expect them to hire a ton but i could def see them hiring a handful.
source: i interned there this summer
