Wells Fargo HC reduction
Wells Fargo just announced the closure of its Anchorage branch.
It wasn't the most well known or productive branch, and their lunch breaks were a bit long, but there were good hardworking people there nonetheless. If they are willing to close a location in one of the prime fishing cities in the world, that doesn't look good for the industry as a whole.
Has anyone heard more info about the scope of this?
This reminds me of Lehman Brothers 2008. I knew there was fraud happening within Wells Anchorage (insider trading, stealing company snacks, etc), but I never thought it come to this.
Also heard many of the bankers will be relocating to the Chattanooga office. Good time to be a restaurant owner in Chattanooga!
