Just got an email about Wells Fargo's Investment Banking placement process. Should I be networking with my top groups before the formal process in October or will that be frowned upon?

You should, some top candidates might get reached out to by groups in october so better to get your name out there. Analysts also have like 200 placement networking emails on top of intern networking so not a bad idea to get on it
