What are some of the best groups in terms of culture, dealflow, exits etc. would love to hear about WLB for any of them as well

M&A is very sought after there. Especially the NYC group. Summer analysts who place there are usually from top targets, though it’s possible to so SA in Charlotte and get a return offer for New York.
Huh.. yo it may be sought out but I don’t think it’s a good group at all. What notable deals have they even done? Seems like a lot of pitching and they don’t close much like haven’t heard WF M&A on any type of news or deal
They were on ICE buying Black Knight for ~$16bn enterprise value a couple weeks ago but they were second chair, GS did all the real work (model, DD etc.). WF is ICE's main bank for financing and was mainly there for that but got an M&A cred as well. Can't imagine the M&A fees were equal.
What about some of the coverage groups? Would appreciate any insight!
