Alright you bunch of financial degenerates, since WFH is here to stay and I am tired of sitting at a crappy desk in a crappy chair for hours on end, what are some reccomendations for a comfortable chair and desk? I'm looking for a chair that won't fuck up my back and a desk that is big enough for my WFH station, dock, and 2 screens.
Drop some links.
love my Fully Jarvis standing desk personally, and following for chair recs
Herman Miller aeron chair
Has anyone invested in a sick gaming chair? They seem super comfortable.
Yeah especially because I play games like 10 hours a day
another vote for herman miller aeron if you're willing to shell out a good amount of money. ikea markus is a more affordable option
The Autonomous Myo Chair with head and leg rest is good enough for me. Don’t have back issues tho so I’m not as picky. Clearly better than the $50-100 chairs you can get but would depend on how particular you are about chair comfort
Uplift standing desk + H.M. Aeron chair
HM sayl chair
This topic came up a month or two ago and someone suggested the below chair. Patrick said he bought it as well - let us know how it is WallStreetOasis.com

so far so good...a bit awkward at first but I think it's good to force you to change positions...
I went to Ikea and got a huge standing desk and a good ergonomic chair for ~400 all in
(Desk was open box so 50% off)
do you remember the names by any chance?
Get a gaming chair

I really wish I could help you with your desk and chair choices, but unfortunately I haven't found the perfect one for me yet.
Herman Miller Aeron +1
Retail they’re $1k+ but if you’re in the tristate area there’s a bunch of office liquidators that bought them in bulk from places that were remodeling / going out of business and a loaded version ($1500 retail) can be had for $450 or better. Still a great deal
