What are DCM exits/career path?
Outside of staying in banking, what is the potential career path or the top/covetted exits for DCM bankers? Does it make a difference if your DCM group is under the IBD vs S&T/GM umbrella?
The distinct areas I'm aware of are listed below, but please let me know if im missing anything:
- Origination (Investment Grade & High Yield)
- Syndication
- LevFin
- Structured / Asset Backed Securities
- Sovereign, Supranational, and Agency (Generally within IG)
