What are the last months of IB like when you know you’re going to leave?

Now that bonus season is coming up, I’m sure there are many people who have planned/are planning their exit from IB. What are the last months like? Is it fine to start rolling back the effort, pushing back against extra work, taking a day off here and there, and leaving the office early?

I’m realizing that even though I’m planning on leaving, I’m still giving it my 100% and I’m having a hard reason figuring out why. I’m really burnt out and dialing back the effort would do a lot to improve my mental health before taking up my new endeavor.

I personally haven't rolled back the effort because it would screw over the rest of my team who rely on me to get work done and how you leave is how you will be remembered.

When you say taking a day off or leaving early, do you mean Saturday off? Leaving early meaning signing off before midnight? Taking Friday off or signing off at 5pm seems risky.
