What are you spending your bonus $$ on???
With IB bonuses getting paid out soon, and assuming you don't work at Barclays, what are some things you guys have been looking to spend the extra cash on?

Buying the dip. Putting all into index funds.
Usually buy myself something nice, but nothing crazy (last year I got a new Mac computer and a gun). And then put the rest into investments. I’m in ER so my bonus is obv much less but don’t think I’d change much even if my bonus was double

Buying a watch and investing the rest assuming decent numbers
Tons, depends on whether you are looking for a dress watch, sport watch, something that is suitable for all occasions. Then you also have to decide on what size you are comfortable with (38mm? 42mm?) and actually try them on as similar sized watches will look different on the wrist depending on the bezel and lugs (some larger watches with more curved lugs will fit better on smaller wrists than you would think based on size alone)
The usual classics:
Omega Speedmaster
Rolex GMT (probably won’t be able to find on at msrp)
IWC portofino or Portugieser
JLC Polaris (although some people are negative about the movement size on this watch)
Some cartiers too (especially if looking for something dressier, although I’m not a huge fan)
Some more unique options
H Moser Cie Pioneer
Arnold & Son 8 day (but get second hand as they depreciate a fair bit)
Parmigiani Tonda GT (a bit higher than your price but one of the best values out there)
Also a few Zeniths that would work (defy, etc)
Pair of socks if ur at Barclays

I work at Barclays and took a group of MDs to dinner, paid for their meals, and then told them I quit. My bonus was what I made in accounting, about $1,500.
