To WFH my Bank makes us use our personal computer to log in remotely (without VPN, just remote desktop) to our work computer in the office. Since I do not use a work VPN and the computer is mine, what can they see of my personal computer?
Can they see any files outside the remote desktop app or if I use a personal VPN to connect to my wifi?

Probably nothing. I too connect remotely with my personal computer. I do it through Citrix. So your employer can’t really see anything.
If they could, it would probably be illegal. Or at least to use anything against you would. Of course, as long as it doesn’t relate to stealing proprietary info and the like.
