What current banks would you say that Bear and Lehman were the equivalents to back in ‘07-‘08?
I was like 8 years old back then so I don’t remember. Just curious how big they were. Were they BBs? EBs?
I wasn’t that old back then, but, if helpful, I believe I was told by a top exec at a family investment firm / PE firm that the failure of Bear / Lehman was as surprising as if GS or the like failed today. People can have different opinions on the veracity of that, but I figure that general statement may be helpful for you. Good luck and best wishes
