What Do I Tell Them As A Banker?
So this question might sound dumb/too broad, but I've been thinking about it lately.
Say I am an Investment Banker in December 2019, and I know for a fact that COVID-19 is about to throw a wrench in the normal course of the world/economy in 3 months time (and that information is exclusive to me/clients), what advice do I give a corporate client to prepare?
I know this would be company-specific but what would be a good way to think about this and what options would I have in front of me? Do I advise on a sale or some divestitures? Or maybe I refinance debt?
I have no experience in IB/strategy coming from a trading background, so genuinely interested in hearing from others.
