I am on a tight budget, I was wondering what the opinions on this suit are or Banana Republic suits in general or if there any other options for better suits in this price range. For context I am going to be a BB ib summer analyst next year.

I know you can find a similar suit with likely better quality at Jos A Banks. They also have sales going on right now so you can get an entire suit for WSO but I imagine they’re perceived and are better than BR suits.

I think it really comes down to fit. Anyone will agree you look much better in a $300 suit that’s tailored properly vs a $3000 suit off the rack. My advice is go with the cheaper suit option that you are considering and then spend some dough having it tailored. This could cost ($60-100) depending on what you need done. Try to avoid spending more on alterations than the actual garment.
