What does this position entail?

Analyst, Business Controls and Governance Asset Management

^

I know someone who has this position in a prominent bank. I'm going to be hopefully learning under this person in the coming weeks (I've been putting it off because I can't decide on what to wear), but don't have a clue as to what their position entails. Can anyone tell me?

This has little to do with i-banking but I figure I'll get a good answer.

KeileI'm still mildly confused. I just graduated high school.

Is being in back office good or bad? Does it matter?

how long are you going to be "learning" under that person?

I'm making it up as I go along.

Back office = "supporting role" of a company Front office = people working in the core field of operation (These are the people bringing in the money)

Dress business casual and you will be fine. better to be overdressed than underdressed. After the first day you will see what people generally wear.
