What firms are still alive for SA27???

No offer for me unfortunately... what firms are still alive for SA27 (investment banking)?

Also, how does recruiting work past this cycle? Will any 27' roles open up next school year? And how difficult is FT recruiting. Thanks!!

Do you know which MMs? Or which boutique firms.

Also, do you mean theyll open 27 spots next school year, or normal (as in process for 27 will just be soon).

Im sure any advice on this will help thanks so much

I recruited SA26. Most of the SA26 stuff wrapped up by mid-March in 2025. Over the summer, DB ran an entire other process to fill a decent amount of spots. In the Fall of 2025, more spots reopened for SA26 (most likely because the economy was promising or some kids reneged). I saw RJ, Santander, Citi, Rothschild, Jefferies, HL, GS, Macquarie, and a few other decent places reopen to fill a few spots. You have to be doomscrolling linkedinJobs and Handshake every day in order to find those opportunities because they only reopen applications for 2 days max - so as soon as they do, email all your contacts there and get an R1. A lot of people from my school who gave up after the first few months of recruiting missed the boat on this stuff.

I doomscroll on LinkedIn all the time lol, so I’m not worried about missing out on those opportunities, I am more so curious on whether or not I should reach out to bankers at some of those firms to ask for a coffee chat, or if it’s too close to the end of regular cycle recruiting.
