What firms (besides Goldman) fast-track employees?

What firms, besides Goldman Sachs, fast-track employees? What firms are willing to promote Analysts to Associates after only two years, rather than three years? Same goes for promoting Associates to Vice Presidents after two years.

Goldman or bust, you have no shot anywhere else.

Dumbass.

Who the fuck told you Goldman fast-tracks employees? It's all a case by case basis. Most of the Goldman analysts I know ran the fuck out to the buy-side.

JimmyDormandy,

Most of those GS analysts were also offered accelerated promotions, but declined to take them. And yes, it's case-by-case, but a lot of firms won't do it. Period.

Probably happens more on the S&T side, but I've never seen or heard about someone getting promoted to associate after just two years at my bank & group. This is probably a bad reason to choose a bank anyway though... titles don't really mean shit most of the time, and if you're good, you'll get rewarded accordingly (or if you don't, you just leave to someplace that will).
