What GS locations have M&A?
Looking into what locations Goldman has IBD groups in, specifically M&A as that is what I’m interning in right now (not investment banking but technically private equity).
GS doesnt have an M&A group, all the classics execute them inhouse. GS has NY, SF, CHI, LA, and HTX as their main hubs in US

Don't listen to the above posters... GS DOES have an M&A group. Though this is misleading because it's more of an activism defense group.
Since the dawn of time, GS will not do a hostile takeover - bad for business if you're backing the "hostile" party when you want large corporates as your clients. So, they created the "M&A" group that essentially does takeover defense. The above posters are correct that M&A execution / modeling is done by the industry groups and junior bankers.
