Just got the interview for this position in APAC. Kind of wondering what exactly Global Corporate Banking is. It is the sub-group of Global Corporate & Investment Banking at BAML. According to those description (https://campus.bankofamerica.com/careers/global-c…), I feel it's half consulting + half IBD. Is that true?

No, Corporate Banking manages the banks balance sheet for corporate clients meaning the loanbook. So how much should we lend for a particular client, what price, do we have too much exposure etc. Part of this role includes credit analysis but no you do not do much modeling in the traditional sense despite the description, maybe you'll model a projected repayment profile and do sensitivities on that to determine your pricing but no it is not IB + consulting.
It is more sophisticated commercial banking.
