What percent of UBS MDs are former Barclays?
curious on how many people have actually came over. Feels like a retirement home or clubhouse for former Barclays Bankers. How come Barclays is still doing well with so many laterals?

Next poll should be what percentage of those are actually good? Probably less than 10% of now UBS former Barclays bankers are with their pay
Dependent on group; some groups, like LevFin, Sponsors, or Industrials, have zero Barclays MD's. Others like Tech and M&T it's vast majority. Others like M&A or HC, or CR, it's not a majority but there are some. Would think overall number is somewhere between 20-30%. If you haven't noticed, the good groups have no Barcalys MD's and the worse the group is, the more Barclays MD's they have.
Whatever the % is its 100% too high. All these hires are abject failures…they havent even come close to being worth their gauranteed comp (not to mention margin / overhead costs etc).
