What should I discuss with my contact?

Hi,

I had posted earlier that I had a 3.3 from Michigan and was majoring in economics and philosophy with courses in accounting and finance. I also mentioned that I possibly have contacts in some banks that could help me get an interview for the summer internship. I have managed to find one such person in global recruitment in investment banking at Citigroup. I have her phone number and email id. I am going to email her first, introducing myself and then call her.

Questions:

1)Apart from introducing myself, what other things should I discuss both over email and over the phone? (How can I make an interview a possibility?)

Thanks guys, I really appreciate your help

send her dick pics

but seriosly I would discuss why you are interested in IB, and what you can bring to the table. Pretty much its more or less like a cover letter, except you have the "Mr so and so gave me your contact info"

p.s. anyone who flames me takes it up the ass

great idea, since ur so good at networking!

Just sit down with her and tell her what u can bring to the table, even if she doesn't ask u...it's alwasy a great way to make friends by walking up and immediately spouting a list off adjectives about urself (hardworking, analytical) and rambling about how great u are and talking about urself

I found the most successful way of making contacts was to play stupid. "Oh hi yadda yadda yadda interested in your career. what do you do? etc."

prospie did you ever reply to me asking you what makes you so knowing?
